As a lifelong Wisconsinite, it’s been an honor to work on the rebranding effort for Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). WEDC serves as the state’s Department of Commerce. Together, we’ve built a powerful brand and voice that’s helping to attract new companies and talent to Wisconsin, engage local businesses and communities, and celebrate all of the amazing things happening in our state.

Making a case for Wisconsin.

In addition to supporting businesses and communities, WEDC also runs talent attraction efforts for our state. This 2024 multichannel campaign made a compelling case for moving to Wisconsin for life and work. It included a national TV spot that aired during Top Chef, and much more.

Wisconsin’s national talent attraction campaign was the largest in state history. In addition to national TV, it included :05 social video cutdowns; Facebook, Linked In, and Instagram posts; out-of-home at General Mitchell International Airport; banner and native ads on Zillow, Realtor.com, and Google, a lead-generation trickle email campaign; and a tailored messaging track for transitioning military which included print, social, and email advertising and a direct mail piece.

Mission: Position a government agency as warm and welcoming (because they are).
